Bio

Dr. Eliane Bsaibess is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sciences and Engineering at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi (SUAD). She holds a PhD in Physics with a specialization in condensed matter from Université du Littoral Cote d'Opale, France. Her expertise spans applied physics and materials science, with a focus on energy-related applications. Dr. Bsaibess' research centers on the synthesis and characterization of novel ceramic materials for thermoelectric, electrocaloric, and liquid crystal ferroelectric technologies. Additionally, her research includes the development of instrumental techniques for the precise measurement of thermophysical and optical properties in solids and liquids. Dr. Bsaibess is affiliated with the Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi Research Institute (SAFIR) and the Novel Materials Development Laboratory (NoMaD), where her work contributes to sustainable energy solutions and innovative materials
