We promote sustainable and responsible food on campus by:
- Expanding vegetarian and plant-based menu options with clear labeling and awareness campaigns on health and environmental benefits.
- Setting procurement guidelines to reduce carbon-intensive foods and single-use packaging.
- Launching initiatives like Meat-Free Mondays and Local Food Weeks.
- Managing event food excess responsibly through redistribution to community organizations when safe, or composting if redistribution isn’t possible.
