We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Shovon Sengupta, Ph.D. student at the Department of Economics and Finance, BITS Pilani-Hyderabad Campus, India, and an affiliated Ph.D. student at SAFIR, Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, on his successful completion of the Ph.D. viva-voce examination at BITS Pilani.
His thesis was conducted under the esteemed guidance of Prof. Sunny Kumar Singh (BITS Pilani) and Prof. Tanujit Chakraborty (Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi). Titled “Essays on Inflation Forecasting under Uncertainties: A Machine Learning Perspective,” parts of his thesis have been published in leading journals and conferences, including the International Journal of Forecasting, Computational Economics, and ISF.
