Sports for Students

At Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, sports are not just extracurricular activities they are integral to the overall academic and personal development of our students. As part of our commitment to fostering a balanced and healthy lifestyle, we offer sports as an option within the curriculum, allowing students to earn academic credits while participating in physical activities.

How It Works.

The Sport as an Option program gives students the flexibility to integrate regular physical activity into their academic schedule. Students can choose from a wide range of sports, fitness classes, and wellness activities, with each option designed to accommodate different skill levels and interests. Participation in these sports activities not only contributes to physical well-being but also supports personal growth, discipline, and teamwork.

Credit and Assessment.

Students who enroll in the Sport as an Option program can earn academic credits toward their degree. Assessment is based on regular participation, skill progression, and personal development throughout the semester. Additionally, some courses may offer bonus points for extra involvement in competitions or additional training sessions.
