The “Marine AI and Robotics for Innovation and Sustainability” (MARIS-AI) has been held at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi on the 21 and 22 January 2026. The symposium was convened as a premier multidisciplinary platform addressing the intersection of artificial intelligence, robotics, and marine conservation.
Recognized as an official United Nations Ocean Decade Activity, the event underscored the global imperative for technologically driven solutions in the sustainable management of marine ecosystems.
